24-27 July 2025 Szilvásvárad
CAI3*-H1, H2, CAI3*-H4 WCupQ, CAI2*-H1, H2, CAI3*-P2 International Driving Competition
The Szilvásvárad Masters international competition series will continue in Szilvásvárad in summer 2025. From 24-27 July 2025, the world-class INEOS Grenadier Lipica Equestrian Centre will host the world-class drivers' arena at the gateway to the Bükk Mountains. The aim of this series of competitions is to bring Szilvasvárad back into the world equestrian circuit, a reality by 2025.
The State Stud Farm Szilvásvárad is the second largest stud farm in the world, responsible for breeding the Lipizzaner breed. Since its foundation in 1952, the farm has bred countless world-famous specimens of the breed. In addition to breeding, it has in the past organised numerous international equestrian competitions, which have been followed up at world level, including the 1984 World Four-in-Hand Championships. However, its history goes back much further, as archaeologists have found Bronze Age equestrian sculptures dating back 3,000 years on the site of the racecourse.
The series has been a huge success in recent years, with 200 horses and riders competing in the first year of the event and nearly 260 in the second. The third day of the competition will be held on the marathon course of the Bükk, built in the panoramic setting of the Bükk Mountains.
