Despite the driving successes of past generations, Szilvásvárad last hosted the Four-in-Hand Driving World Championship in 1984. Thanks to investments, the Hungarian driving culture, and the results achieved, the International Equestrian Federation awarded Szilvásvárad the right to host the Four-in-Hand Driving World Championship in 2024. The timing is no coincidence, as the world equestrian community is celebrating the anniversary of the legendary 1984 Szilvásvárad championship this year, where Hungarian drivers stood at the top of the team podium and occupied all three individual podium positions. Thanks to the country's joint efforts, the event not only spurred the development of equestrian sports but also set the village and its surroundings on a path of continuous growth, further reinforced by the legendary organizational success of the competition.

The venue for the event is the Szilvásvárad Lipizzaner Horse Center, which was inaugurated in 2018 as a priority government investment. Over the past few years, thousands of horses representing more than 30 nations have arrived in the Szalajka Valley, encompassing five equestrian disciplines. This has established the facility as one of the flagships of Central European and global equestrian sports. Furthermore, for the first time in the history of equestrian culture, the breeding of a specific horse breed—the Lipizzaner bred in Szilvásvárad—has been added to UNESCO's list of intangible cultural heritage.

In 2024, hundreds of thousands of people, in addition to the Hungarian equestrian community, can benefit from the success of the event, just as it had a positive impact on the lives of past generations. From September 4-8, 2024, more than 250 horses and 50 carriages from various continents will arrive in Szilvásvárad, making this an event followed by millions worldwide.

Driving is the most popular equestrian discipline in Hungary, consisting of three events, with the marathon driving held on Saturday attracting the most visitors. In the picturesque Diós Valley, tens of thousands of spectators cheer on the drivers and their horses. Thanks to live broadcasts, people from all over the world can follow our competitions online and be part of the historic World Championship successes.

The most popular event of the competition is the marathon driving, held on Saturday. The marathon course, set in a picturesque environment, features eight obstacles, attracting thousands of spectators. In previous years, numerous sponsors have supported the obstacles at the MASTERS International Driving Competitions, including: the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Defense, Egererdő Zrt., the Municipality of Szilvásvárad, Autó-Nexus Kft., and TEXAID Kft.

The diamond package includes all services offered in the gold sponsorship, plus a personalized marathon obstacle.

This package also includes a separate VIP tent next to the selected marathon obstacle, which the sponsor can furnish and use to host their guests.
