Platthy József Regional Show Jumping Final

From 11 to 13 September 2026, the Szilvásvárad Lipizzaner Equestrian Centre will host the Platthy József Regional Show Jumping Final, together with the Hajdú-Bihar and Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Show Jumping Finals.

The three-day competition begins on Friday with the county championship finals. The programme includes training and open classes, as well as competitions for novice riders, young horses, junior riders, amateur riders and adults.

On Saturday, the qualifying rounds of the Platthy József Regional Show Jumping Championship will take place. Novice riders will compete over 100 cm, amateurs over 110 cm, junior riders over 115 cm, and adults over 130 cm. The regional team competition will also be held on Saturday.

Sunday will be centred around the regional finals. Novice riders will compete over 105 cm, amateurs over 115 cm, junior riders over 120 cm, while the adult final will be held over 135 cm. The three-day programme will also feature several training and open classes.

The event is named after József Platthy, one of the outstanding figures of Hungarian show jumping and individual bronze medallist at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games.
